Lifestyle Portrait Photography

My approach and style of portrait photography is that of a Lifestyle Portrait Photographer Most people are not used to being photographed and so they feel uncomfortable with a portrait photographer in a studio. So it's comon sense that if you feel stressed then it's going to show in your photographs. This is why I prefer to create my portrait photography with people at home, in their natural surroundings or in the garden or park, so that they are relaxed and enjoying the experience of being photographed. I love to create lifestyle portrait photography using a combination of natural light, reflectors and my portable studio portrait lighting.

The first step to getting a great portrait is to sit down with your portrait photographer and decide what you want to acheive. Is it a portrait on a canvas wrap, framed print portaits or a series of family photographs for a family album? Are you looking for a specific look? A romantic portait or something more edgy and contemporary. A cup of tea and a chat is always a good way to start a portrait photography session.

I charge £50 for a portrait photography session, which includes a framed print of your choice, with additional framed prints, canvas wraps or abums for sale thereafter. The portrait photography session will last around an hour to an hour and half but I tend to just keep shooting until we get what we want.
